It is one of the 4,848 Alfa Romeo 1600 Junior 2a series produced until 1975. Our Alfa is matching numbers.

The interior of the Junior version is exactly like the first classic “Osso di seppia” series. Painted instrument panel, no center console, gear lever extending directly from the floor. Much less plastic than in the stronger Spider Veloce version allowed to maintain the original, classic character of the first version. It also fits perfectly with the wooden steering wheel, which was standard on the 1600 Junior.

We found the Alfa in a very interesting garage in Switzerland, near Lugano Lake. The place was shared with several other classics. The car was imported to Poland and registered in 2022. As Poland is part of the European Union, exporting to any EU country is very simple now.

Although the Alfa was a decade after the renovation done in Switzerland, we managed to find a number of places to improve. The car has had a comprehensive service, the cost of which exceeded 5000 euros. Everything on the car works great, with no corrosion or leaks. The car is very dynamic, and sounds beautiful. Driving it is a great pleasure.
