A problem that ALL pre-Facelift R129 once encountered, we can now deliver sustainably and in the usual Mercedes-Benz quality of the 90s.

The hinges of the door compartments break after 30 years on the vehicles because of the high load on them when the door is closed. The result is a loose door pocket flap, which can be temporarily fixed again with screws and drilling through the broken parts, but this means that the flap no longer stays up when you open it and also rests loosely without a spring effect, so to speak limp and untypical for Mercedes-Benz.

Since we absolutely wanted to keep the original look, we decided to have this part manufactured.
The parts are made from the much more modern and therefore more durable material Nylon PA-12.
